Design Best Practices & Creative Integrity
 

At Hoverchair Studios, originality, authorship, and creative integrity are non-negotiable.
Moving forward, AI will not be used in any capacity—including concepting, ideation, illustration, or final execution. This applies across all projects, platforms, and deliverables.
 

I, previously explored integrating AI-tools as part of an experimental workflow during concept development and execution.  It was this exploration that made it extremely evident, how aggressively these tools pull from existing artwork found across the web.  

That experience made it clear that AI-generated outputs pose serious risks to originality, attribution, and trust—values that are foundational to my work and to the creative community at large.
 

As a result, I'm reworking my best-practices moving forward. I fully recommitted to a 'sketch-to-completion' process. All concepts are now developed through—hand sketches, licensed-stock manipulation, iterative refinement, and final execution—to reinforce authenticity and clearly demonstrate creative authorship. This process will be shared in concept presentations and, when appropriate, publicly, so clients can see ideas evolve organically and transparently.
 

The rapid integration of AI-tools into the design industry is actively reshaping conversations around best practices, ethics, and authorship. Navigating that shift is an evolving experience for all creatives, and I believe transparency is essential. I’m sharing this openly to reinforce my commitment to honest process, original work, and respect for fellow artists—now and moving forward.
